Early experiments with fan email to this site convinced most straight-thinking observers that
getting involved with this e-mail thing was a bad, bad idea, no doubt. Still we gave it a try --
for a while. And some of it was fun -- for a while. Be that as it may, we announce today
that regular posting of fan email has been suspended for the time being.Dedicated browsers
will find, however,, plenty of spots on the broad mountain slope of steelydan.cpom where substantive interactions
between all sorts of people continue in perhaps slightly obscured but most certainly creative form.
